Darla Montalto is Director, Travel Services for the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball. Montalto joined Major League Baseball as their first Travel Manager in 2008. She launched consolidation of the transient travel for the League, gaining value and cost avoidance for each MLB Club and MLB entity on air, hotel, and rental car spend. In addition, Montalto developed and implemented procedures for League hotel procurement, including Postseason. Her 30+ years of travel industry experience began with American Airlines in the 1980s and has included account management with the TMC and rental car sectors of the business. Darla resides in Livingston, NJ with her husband and two daughters.
