Dave Kern is an experienced professional with over 25 years of proven success cultivating world class teams. Over the years, Dave has led diverse domains such as Procurement, Travel, Capital Management, Business Process Outsourcing, Low-Cost Locations, Compliance, and various global systemic/operational transformations. Dave is currently the Vice President of Enterprise Commercial Strategy (Tripadvisor Companies), overseeing Global Procurement, Enterprise Analytics & Travel Programs. As part of this role, Dave is responsible for designing, negotiating, and implementing enterprise strategic initiatives to drive top line value generation and operational efficiencies / cost take-out. Prior to TripAdvisor, Dave worked at Staples (12 years) holding various leadership positions. Most notably as the Director of North America Supply Chain, responsible for building one of the largest 3rd Party final mile delivery networks within the U.S and Canada. Dave began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, within the audit and consulting practices.
