Yukari Tortorich

Yukari Tortorich is responsible for Discovery’s travel program in 27 countries.  Her small department of 7 touches all areas of travel (on-air talent travel bookings/logistics, production travel, administrates Concur Travel site in 20 countries, manages on-site logistics during major Discovery events (such as the Olympics).  Duty of care/safety of her travelers is her upmost priority and her team is on call 24/7.  Yukari manages Discovery’s corporate jet and is constantly reviewing innovation in the travel industry for possible inclusion in Discovery’s travel program.  She is an active member of the travel industry and was recognized in May 2017 by BTN in “2017 Women You Should Know” and “2018 BTN Best Practioner”, recipient of “2018 GBTA Business Travel Service Award” and “2019 Concur Innovation Award Winner”. Outside business hours, Yukari loves spending her time with her family, loves photography, hiking and is a dancer with a Japanese Classical Dance group.
