There are many different aspects of corporate travel that can be addressed, but in 2023, procurement teams should focus on three key areas: pre-booking experience, during the trip traveler touchpoints, and post-expense management. By improving each of these areas, businesses can make the business traveler's journey more efficient and enjoyable in 2023.
1. Pre-booking experience: The pre-booking experience will continue to evolve in 2023, with more companies offering online booking tools and mobile apps. This will make it easier for travelers to find the best deals and book their travel arrangements in advance.
2. During the trip –Travelers will expect more from their corporate travel experiences in 2023. They will want seamless booking, easy access to their itineraries, and real-time updates on their flights and hotels. They will also expect more personalized service and amenities during their trip.
3. Post expense management and traveler sentiment: In 2023, corporate travel programs will focus on streamlining the expense management process and making it easier for travelers to submit their expenses. Additionally, they will pay close attention to traveler sentiment after each trip, using feedback to improve the overall experience.
With billions of dollars exchanging hands in the capital structure of corporate travel driven by M&A, IPOs, Venture Capital and SPACs, how will these impact your vendor’s culture, operation and technology stack? How must you realign your travel program to mitigate risks and capture any opportunities?
Pandemic opportunities fueled much of the M&A, IPO, VC and SPAC financial activities as travel companies pounced on favorable valuations. In 2022, $3.7 trillion were transacted globally in M&A transactions. In the Hospitality Technology sector alone, there have been nearly 300 M&A transactions since 2017 for an aggregate value of more than $30 billion worldwide.
As the corporate travel landscape continues to evolve, so too must the role of the corporate travel manager. To succeed in this ever-changing role, travel managers must be adaptable and proactive, always seeking out new ways to improve the corporate travel experience. This in-depth panel discuss will explore the key steps travel managers must take. They include:

Could the "Less Travel, Better Results" strategy be right for your organization? If so, where do you start, and how do you get to a successful end? Delegates will work through a change management process designed to test the value proposition and accelerate its adoption. Interactive group work and live polling will amplify the insights from your peers.
The question is how do you get access to NDC content for my corporate travelers?
NDC offers airlines the flexibility to market their fares in new ways, which may include better pricing (without surcharges) and access to additional airline services.
NDC provides a way to bundle service offerings to travelers and corporations in a more modern and personalized manner. It can be complex and confusing when you try to incorporate NDC into your travel program along with GDS and Low-Cost Carrier content.
In this session, we will discuss challenges and identify best practices to help you have the right conversations with airlines, online booking tools, TMCs and GDSs and make the right decisions to make NDC a reality for your program.
Attendees will leave the session with a roadmap of how to incorporate NDC into their travel programs for 2023 and beyond.

When it comes to corporate travel, your internal stakeholders are key. They're the ones who have to sign off on your travel program, and they're the ones who will be impacted by any changes you make. That's why it's so important to make sure they're on board with your vision for the program. This focused working group will shed light on a important tips for communicating your travel program vision to internal stakeholders:
1. Keep it simple. When you're talking to internal stakeholders, avoid using jargon or technical terms. Instead, focus on explaining the key benefits of your travel program in plain language.
2. Focus on the bottom line. Internal stakeholders are usually most interested in how a travel program will impact their budget. Make sure you highlight the cost savings that your travel program can offer.
3. Be prepared to answer questions. Internal stakeholders will likely have questions about your travel program, so it's important to be prepared to answer them. Be ready to address any concerns they might have and explain how your program will work in detail.
Each attendee selects 2 roundtable conversations to attend within the hour, and they run concurrently for 30-minutes each. Each participant then switches and moves to their second roundtable conversation for the second half of the hour.
